Materials used: The stone is a full width salt and pepper granite, quarried locally on Hardy Island, British Columbia.
Work done: Cypress is a special project, and falls under the category of “Vancouver Heritage”. This private residence was a down to studs reno, but keeping the same design but new materials.Touchstone brought the stone work back to life, after having all the original stone pulled out so the house’s structural components could be updated. This client was extremely invested in the stone work, as he is on the Board of Heritage himself.
